Mike & Ester are incredible in front of the camera. They can milk so much romance it’s ridiculous. I just stand there with the camera in front of my face and watch them put moves on each other with zero photographer coaching. Hello. Their wedding was an emotionally packed day that was beautiful in every way. They did a first look that was very sweet and we transitioned into shooting most of the photos with them and the wedding party before the ceremony in an Embassy Suites parking lot. Whatever works. 🙂 After the ceremony, when we arrived for the reception, we found out that we had a few extra minutes for some photos. Wedding photos in Westport at sunset? Don’t mind if I do! Their reception was held at Californos in old school Westport, which is always a sweet Kansas City venue to shoot at.
Ester is an aspiring photographer as well, and she’s currently in the midst of a 365 project. . . like 365 straight days of taking a postable photograph. Yo. You can peruse her blog here. She has an amazing eye for light and composition, and I’m sure she’ll take Milwaukee by storm once she gets a few opportunities there. Girl has talent!
To top it off, it was Mike’s 30th birthday. 🙂
Mike and Ester, we wish you guys the best for a lifetime of love together. We were delighted that you would have us along for your big day!
