Heather and Darren were married in early October at the Evergreen Events Center in Paola. They had easily the smallest ceremony that we’ve shot, with no wedding party and only immediate family in attendance. I loved the sweetness and intimacy of it. Afterwards, they hosted a larger reception on the first floor with extended family and friends. Evergreen is an under-the-radar venue that is actually quite amazing! It was a space that we could have shot all photos in with huge north-facing windows basically providing a studio light kind of feel. Really, really enjoyed our time there.
Now to say that Darren and Heather were easy to work with would be a pretty ridiculous understatement. They have been the perfect example of why we love to do what we do—we get to work with great people, create lasting friendships and capture gorgeous photos of gorgeous subjects. Don’t tell my wife, but I think I’m having a love affair with these images.
Congrats Darren & Heather! We’ve enjoyed our time together and wish you a lifetime of love and happiness together!
Yeah, these shoes deserve two shots, sorry.
Heather donned her mom’s wedding dress for a few photos before putting on her own.
This is happiness.
This is one of my favorite clicks ever. The light is ridiculous.
Kara stole this one from the side.
Freaking amazing. These are all just perfection.
