Kylee loves winter. Because Kylee loves winter, Kylee planned a winter wedding thinking that it would be like winter in winter. If you’ve been keeping tabs on the weather the past couple of months in Kansas City, you’ll know that we’ve only had about 2 or 3 days of winter weather to enjoy this year. Waaah, waaah. . . I, for one, am not complaining one bit! When it was 65 in mid January for her wedding that was supposed to be in the middle of winter, Kylee was not complaining either, and we love her for it! Keevin and Kylee are a great, young couple with a very bright future. Their love for each other was so radiant through the day, and their ceremony was beautifully done at Kylee’s home church, Legacy Christian. Not only was the actual ceremony beautiful and emotional, I was able to get what I would consider one of my favorite ceremony shots ever with the sanctuary having such dark and dramatic lighting. Their reception was at the Ironwoods Lodge in Leawood, and it was a treat to shoot there with all of the barn-like character. K&K, it has been a pleasure getting to know you guys and I hope we’ll stay in touch in the future! Best wishes to you and your new life together!
