I worked with a strong contrast in the two locations we visited for John & Sherry’s engagement session. We started in the heart of Kansas City to get some clean architecture backdrops. Then, to finish up, we headed out to the country to play in some long grass that totally blows my mind! John and Sherry are a super laid back couple and they have a lot of fun together. We tried some serious photos, but you could tell after a while that it just didn’t fit. 🙂 It never failed that as soon as I grabbed the serious shot, they would start cracking up with each other, presumably because they felt so out of character. Lucky for me, once they started cracking up, they were then beautifully in character. Check these out (and especially the country shots)!
