It was a toasty May day in Kansas City for Justin & Kellie’s wedding, with what were probably close to record temperatures. They had their ceremony at Jacob’s Well near Westport and then had their reception at 2000 Grand, above the Cashew. 2000 Grand afforded some great views of the Kansas City skyline and it was only after I started reviewing the photos that I noticed how cool its silhouette was through the windows. It was an awesome backdrop! Lighting and DJ service was done by Alan Berry of BerryGood Light & Sound. It was fun to share the images with them and to reminisce about the day. Justin said, “You know, I think the day was even better than I expected it to be.” That’s what we aim for! Well, that and beautifully delicious photographs. I guess we took care of that too, as Kellie wouldn’t let me leave their house because she planned to flip through the photos all night. Presumably to admire Justin’s ridiculous beauty. . . or hers, I’m not sure. Justin and Kellie, thank you for hanging out with us and giving us the chance to share the day with your family and best friends! As always, Kara and I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness together.
