Kelly and Trino made the trip down to Kansas City from school in Nebraska, so I was hopeful that we were going to have a decent day to work with. Did we ever, but I think it was at the expense of the next two couples I’ll post who also were traveling from out of town for a session. 🙂 It was 75 and sunny, compared to the 40 and gray we had to deal with the next week! You guys lucked out! We were able to comfortably walk around Kansas City for the first part of the session and then headed to a very busy Loose Park for the second half, so we got a nice variety between the two spots. If you happen to see some homecoming attendees in the background of any of these photos, I apologize, but it was probably inevitable considering the plethora of them that we saw that night. . . Okay, so no—there’s no homecoming photo bombs, but we had to get creative and throw some elbows to avoid them!
