I hung out with Drew and Brooke for an engagement session in and around Kansas City recently, and we even had a run-in with the cops. . . well the Johnson County Park and Rec officer, I guess. See, when you have these big, beautiful grassy fields in the middle of nowhere, I guess there’s not really convenient parking. I thought that wasn’t the case and just pulled off on the side of the road failing to notice the repetition of no parking signs up and down each side. I was a little surprised to see flashing lights behind our cars as we made our return back to the vehicles. Alas, only a warning! And I will never do that again. Which is a bummer because I just love where we shot the second portion of the session, and it was clearly the essence of fall perfectly captured. Oh well, I’ll begin work finding a suitable replacement, which won’t be easy. Brooke and Drew, I promise to make the wedding far less eventful next year! 🙂
