I teamed up with James and Kristy for their engagement session on a pretty chilly Kansas City evening, as you might expect this March. It was actually one of the few shootable days we’ve had thus far this year, and it was borderline! We were watching the weather all week like, “Is all this snow going to melt? How long does it take for 20 inches of snow to melt??” There was still a fair amount on the ground, but I don’t think the photos necessarily scream winter wonderland . . . at all. Call me a fan of dead plant life, I guess. But I love some of the colors you can get this time of year before everything springs up green. I’m totally smitten with the last bunch of these photos!
