Greyson and Lauren’s wedding was emotional and authentic with lots of tears and laughter. Happiness abounded. The couple understood the magnitude of the life long choice they were making that day and they couldn’t have been more excited for it. Love that. The wedding ceremony and reception were both held at the historic Firestone Building just south of downtown Kansas City. It was a space we have never shot in before, but it has loads of character and even more potential as they are continually adding space and making improvements. It was chilly that day, so we opted to shoot most of the photos inside to take advantage of . . . a climate controlled environment. Fortunately, there was a ton of space available to us (the bride’s getting ready space is HUGE!), and there were lots of interesting textures to use as well. Just before the reception, we hopped up onto the rooftop for some shots featuring the Kansas City skyline, which obviously is not something most venues have to offer! Congrats, Greyson and Lauren!
