We traveled to Iowa City for Joe and Colleen’s wedding and I rode on an Iowa Hawkeye bus for an hour and a half with a host of other Hawkeye fans in the wedding party. As an Iowa State grad, there is something fundamentally wrong with that. But, being agreeable as I am, I performed my service as requested. With a smile, of course. 🙂 We had to rearrange some of our photo plans for the day as rain was bearing down on us from the beginning of the day. We hauled it and were able to get the majority of the photos captured before the ceremony, which ended up being a great thing, because almost as soon as the ceremony wrapped up, the rain started. The ceremony was at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Iowa City, and it was the rare church that provided us with a host of intriguing locations for photos. The reception right around downtown at Old Brick, which is a repurposed church dating back to the mid-1800s.
Joe and Colleen, thank you guys for being so fantastic to work with. We wish you all the best and hope you are able to enjoy these photos for years and years to come.
