Boy this day came together well. In the middle of nowhere, too. Centerville, Iowa to be exact. Why is it that every small town we shoot in is a gold mine? It’s crazy the wedding photos we’re able to get in little towns around the midwest. There’s something about the character of downtown neighborhoods in small towns, with their imperfect textures and eclectic architecture. Add in some love between a beautiful couple and a killer venue and you’ve got what I’m about to show you. Greg and Megan (Gregan) had their wedding ceremony and reception at Bessie’s Barn outside of Centerville, and it is absolutely gorgeous. The property has plenty of outdoor photo ops, and the interior is a perfect mix of vintage and glam. Super cool. The guys and girls got ready at the Tangleberries Suites downtown, so that’s where we started the day. Megan was made extra beautiful by Beauty of All Faces, which also happens to be from Kansas City. It was super windy for the wedding, but other than that, like I said, everything else came together very well. Hope you guys enjoy the photos, Greg and Megan! We wish you all the best.
