Vince and Bailey had a very classy and sophisticated wedding, and as the photographers, there were lots of details and touches that we were able to shoot to reinforce that. They spent the morning getting ready at the Rafael on the Plaza, around where pictures were supposed to take place as well. We spent the morning continually updating our Kansas City radar maps wondering if we were going to be able to knock some photos out before the rains came. Well, we got a first look in, and that was it! From there, the rains did come and it was off to all covered areas to keep everyone dry and comfortable. It really didn’t start pouring until just before the ceremony though, so fortunately there was still plenty of available light and we were able to make some pretty sweet photos. The wedding ceremony itself was held at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Brookside, and the reception followed shortly after at the Webster House in the Crossroads. The Michael Beers Band was ridiculously awesome, as usual, and literally had the dance floor so packed that we couldn’t even get close to the bride and groom in the center. Everyone was out there. I’ve never experienced anything like it! Again, great details, great venues, and lots of great family and friends celebrating the marriage of these two great people. Bailey and Vince, thank you and your families for having us as part of your big day!
