Jed and Megan took us to territory previously unknown to us for their wedding. The ceremony was WAY south in Bucyrus (yes, Bucyrus is what they call 220th and Metcalf, I guess), at the Queen of the Holy Rosary Wea. Jed and Megan, along with their families, did a great job of infusing meaningful details and moments to the day. Whereas most people seem to try to avoid crying throughout the day, they almost went out of their way to make sure those very emotional moments were present in the day. From a first look with dad, to thoughtful gifts, to heartfelt toasts, the day was loaded. Megan has three other siblings that have gotten married previously, so these guys were savvy veterans on how to put together these meaningful details. The reception was at the fantastic Madrid Theater in midtown Kansas City, a venue we always enjoy photographing. The party was great and the Kokomo Band kept the dance floor full all night. I thought it was neat that Kokomo is who played all four years of Megan’s dances at Sion when she was in high school. Jed and Megan, thank you guys for choosing to work with us for your wedding day! We hope that you love the photos and that you’ll be able to enjoy them for years and years to come.
