Chris and Laura made the trip down to Kansas City for an engagement session with me recently and we woke up earlier than the crack of dawn to beat the heat. We’ll make the return trip up to them in Des Moines for their wedding next May. I’m not always crazy about cloudy days, but on this morning I adored the thin layer of clouds that let just enough light through while still diffusing it perfectly. They have a great variety of environments here—on the Plaza, urban and downtown city. Chris and Laura, you guys are awesome and I’m obsessed with these photos!
