We traveled to St. Louis for Josh and Kylie’s Labor Day weekend wedding. It was fun getting to see some different parts of the city as we traveled around, including some super sketchy areas in East St. Louis. Thanks for that, Google Maps! Their ceremony was at Zion Lutheran Church in Belleville. In between the ceremony and reception, we visited Forest Park and the Muny for some wedding party and bride and groom photos. I’m jealous of that area and really wish we had something similar in Kansas City! That’s incredible to have in the middle of the city like that—nice work St. Louis. We were fortunate that it was only as we were driving to the reception that a huge downpour hit. Like ferocious, slow down to 30 on the interstate style. The reception was at Genesis Banquet Center where family and friends dined, danced and celebrated the rest of the evening, thankful to be dry.
