Chris and Laura had their wedding ceremony and reception at the beautiful Tournament Club of Iowa (TCI), just north of Des Moines in Polk City. As an avid golfer myself, it takes a little extra focus on wedding days when we shoot at beautiful country clubs. Task at hand, task at hand. I lust after golf courses so hard.
I can’t tell you how convenient it is to have all wedding day activities happen at one spot. It seriously makes things so easy and stress free, and I like seeing the trend of more and more couples choosing to go that route. Laura had hair and makeup done at the Club, they had the ceremony on the back patio, and then the reception was just inside in their banquet room. And like I said, everything was beautiful. They chose to do a first look before the ceremony and then we explored some of the course for some bride and groom shots, followed by some great shots of the wedding party on the back patio. Chris and Laura, it was a pleasure to get to know you guys and we appreciate the chance to document the memories of your day!
