Jeff and Avery had a stunning and sophisticated wedding day. They held the ceremony at the beautiful and historic Old Mission Church and followed with a wedding reception at the family’s home club—Milburn Country Club. Jeff and Avery were in good hands for the day with Kelley Flora Ruf, who assisted in planning and coordination for the day. We started the day getting ready at the parents’ homes, both for the bride and groom. We then made our way to Milburn for some relaxed photos with the couple, wedding party and family. It was cold and VERY wet that day. There was absolutely no walking on grass, because it might have just as well been swampland with the historic May/June rains that we got. We made the most of our still beautiful setting though, searching for different angles and environments to give the photos a fun and creative feel. The day was filled with music, which is very important to Jeff and Avery’s story. They had a terrific performance at the ceremony and then Jeff and Avery sang a couple duets to kick off the reception! The Karen Davis Project took it from there and kept the dance floor ridiculously crowded and the room temperature a hot contrast to the cold outdoors. Guys, thank you so much for choosing us to spend the day with you and to document your story!
