Fabian and Krista were a treat to work with and a joy to be around. I just love their wedding photos and the story they tell. We had the perfect day for their wedding. We started the day getting ready at Krista’s parents, where Mandy McKenna did some fabulous work on all the ladies’ hair and makeup. What happened next was amazing, because they did a first look with each other before the wedding at the William Jewell campus in Liberty, where the campus was in full bloom and just gorgeous. A storm was bearing down on us at that time, and just as they finished reading notes they had written to each other and finished up with the emotional reveal, it started sprinkling, and before long pouring. Literally the timing was perfect. We did a few shots under cover as it passed and then the rest of the day was perfectly sunny and mild. It was divine approval over this Christian marriage. Seriously. Their ceremony was at the Liberty United Methodist Church, a place where we’ve established a bridal pipeline of sorts. 🙂 Thank you, ladies. Afterward, we headed downtown against rush hour traffic on a Friday evening. The couple had their wedding reception at the River Market Event Place on the north side of downtown Kansas City. It is a fun venue with lots of photo ops nearby. The day was basically perfect, and I’m pretty sure Fabian and Krista would agree.
