Powell Gardens is a beautiful gem outside of Kansas City and the Marjorie Powell Allen Chapel that sits on the hill overlooking the gardens is easily one of the most photogenic locations for a wedding ceremony in Kansas City. We were blessed to be chosen by Lauren and Oliver to photograph their wedding at Powell Gardens earlier this month and we tried to make the most the opportunity. Obviously the gardens were a spectacular backdrop from photos the couple and wedding party, so we had a lot of fun creating images there. They spent a lot of time and thought on transforming the visitor’s center for the reception space as well, ensuring that the whole day was beautiful from beginning to end.
