Jake & Julie’s Noah’s Event Venue Wedding Pictures

November 8, 2016

We have enjoyed such a beautiful fall, with seemingly every one of our weddings and sessions taking place in ideal weather conditions. Jake and Julie’s wedding in Kansas City was no different. They booked Noah’s Event Venue in Overland Park before the building was even completed, and I’d have to assume they were happy they did. It’s a nicely crafted space that is well thought-out and built specifically for wedding receptions. It has a contemporary elegance to it, and we enjoyed photographing there quite a bit. We started the day at the ceremony site—Church of the Ascension—shooting getting ready preparations and details. Once the couple had laughed, cried, kissed and been married, we headed to Thomas Stoll Park to have some fun with the bride, groom and wedding party.

Toward the end of the night, Jake and Julie put a bow on the reception with a fun (and super smokey) sparkler exit. With the probably 400 sparklers that were lit, I’m assuming the cloud could have both been seen and smelled from St. Louis! Jake and Julie, thank you for giving us the opportunity to document and share your wedding day with you! We have really appreciated your trust and excitement throughout the whole process and we hope you’ll be in love with the photos (and each other) for years and years to come.
