April showers bring May flowers? Well, we will be waiting on those flowers! If you’re reading this, chances are you experienced the monsoon that affected the majority of the country this past weekend. Ryan and Anne’s wedding was also not exempt from the steady 36 hour rain. Fortunately for them, they had everything at the beautiful Milburn Country Club in Kansas City, so it was comfortable, convenient and still really, really good looking. They had the ceremony in the reception space (Plan C) and quickly transitioned into dinner and the reception after a cocktail hour. The Diamond Empire Band kept the reception lively and guests on the dance floor all night.
The best thing about rain is the opportunity to get out in it and create something really special, like we did with the last photo of the night. I’m super pumped about the result. Ryan and Anne, thank you so much for being willing to venture out into the elements with us in the cold, dark night! And thank you for being so laid back, for laughing so much, and for basically being perfect for one another. We wish you guys all the best!
