Shooting Blake and Madison’s engagement session in Kansas City was a delight. First of all, we have worked with Madison and her family before, and they are just wonderful! Beyond that, it is easy to see the love and genuine happiness that exists between these two. They laughed together as much as anyone I have photographed, and you can just tell this marriage thing is going to work for them. A cold front whipped through about 2/3 of the way through our session, and it got straight up cold and windy! To Blake and Madison’s credit, some of my favorite images came toward the end of our time together. Special shout out to Doug for being my light stand holder in that fierce wind. 🙂
