We had the pleasure of photographing Philip and Maggie’s wedding this past weekend in southeast Iowa. Though it was fairly warm temperature-wise for the beginning of March, there was a biting wind that is never kind to bare skin or long hair! Thanks to all the ladies—and especially the one in the white dress—for making these photos possible! Philip and Maggie’s small and intimate ceremony was at a very old country church—Long Creek Church. It was retro, but there was a lot of character both inside and out. A much larger group gathered for the reception at the Airport Rd Vineyard & Winery in Mt Pleasant, Iowa. Before their reception entrance, we hopped out to do some sunset photos that probably look warmer than they were. 🙂 Philip and Maggie, thank you guys for keeping it real all day—for just being yourselves and doing your wedding your way. It was a pleasure partnering with you and we wish you two all the best!
