Taylor & Anna’s Putnam Museum Wedding Pictures

Taylor and Anna are two stand-up individuals, and it was an absolute privilege to be a part of their wedding day celebration. There is something different and special with a Christ-centered wedding day, and that is exactly where Taylor and Anna kept the focus. You could see the joy radiating from these two and all of their guests as well. Their ceremony was at oneeighty in Davenport, which is a beautiful, old church that has been updated without compromising a lot of the character that makes so many older churches special. We did a few photos before the ceremony around the church, and once Taylor caught his first glimpse of Anna, the guy could not stop kissing his bride throughout the day. Dude was smitten. At the conclusion of their ceremony, there was a loud ruckus of cheering that ensued (that’s part of the obvious joy I was talking about).

Afterward, we traveled about 5 minutes west for the reception, which was at Davenport’s Putnam Museum. Timing worked out that we got to spend a little time outside for some sunset photos before making the reception entrance, and there were some gorgeous photos that resulted there! Since Putnam sits on top of a huge hill, we went to the edge of it, and it felt like we were on top of the world! (As much as you can get that sensation in Iowa, at least). Kudos to Travis at Unique Events for coordinating everything with us to make sure that we had that opportunity! After toasts, dinner, cake and dancing, we set off some fire alarms with some smokey sparklers for their exit!

Taylor and Anna, it was so nice to be able to share your wedding day with you guys, and we really appreciate you having us! You guys are wonderful people and I hope your hearts never change. We wish you nothing but the best in your marriage together!
